Fire Station Door Challenges SEPPES Solved

Emergency Response and Vehicle Clearance

Fire station sectional overhead door systems, fire truck bay doors, emergency response doors, and apparatus bay doors must open reliably for engines, ladder trucks, rescue vehicles, and daily crew movement.

Visibility, Safety and Frequent Operation

Full view aluminum overhead door designs, high speed doors for fire station routes, fire station overhead doors, and stacking high speed doors help improve visibility, reduce waiting time, protect internal zones, and support high-cycle use.

challenge

The fire station required seven acrylic transparent sectional overhead doors for its fire truck bays, with each opening measuring 3970 x 4000 mm. The transparent panels needed to make indoor conditions easier to observe and improve the overall visual appearance. During an emergency, all seven fire station doors also needed to open together as quickly as possible so the fire engines could leave without delay.

SEPPES  Solution

SEPPES supplied seven acrylic transparent sectional overhead doors with turning-lift tracks. Each door can be operated separately using a manual wall button. A dedicated integrated control box provides one-touch linkage, allowing all seven doors to open or close simultaneously when coordinated operation is required.

Results

The transparent door design makes indoor conditions easier to observe and creates a cleaner, more open visual effect. During an emergency response, one-touch linkage can open all seven fire truck bay doors together, helping fire engines leave the station quickly, while individual push-button control remains available for routine use.
